Abstract (EN)
In this study, a ?Smart Home? model has been investigated, which makes our daily life more safely and practical. After giving theoretical information about smart home, remote control of this smart home system has been analyzed. For the remote control of the smart home, a DTMF, two different microprocessor and sensors with different properties were used. Signals coming from DTMF were orientated by PIC16F877. Lights of upstairs and downstairs of the home were opened and closed, fishes were feeded, garden watering engine was opened and voice system in the home was activated by using 1-7 in phone keys. In addition to these, garage door of the home was controlled and only cars of home owner was allowed to enter the garage by PIC16F628. Furthermore, garden lightes of home was designed so that it would opened automatically during night. Consequently, in this study, remote control has been provided by DTMF and a smart home model with limited properties has been formed.
