Abstract (EN)

Energy projects which are prepared for increasing demand, energy is no longer a national structure shows that the global structure. Countries that are connected to each other through the interconnected system due to increase in the stability and reliability of the system, to meet increasing energy demand in recent years, investments in renewable sources have given the speed such as wind and solar energy. These investments are designed on the basis, not only production but also the planned of energy transmission and distribution. Planned to be compatible with each other and the different structures must be flexible about the integration of new energy sources. Futhermore in line future energy needs will increase the contribution of renewable energy sources can be added, by considering bi-directional power flows tied, advanced communication protocols(IEC 61850 protocol), control and protection with the appropriate structure of the network infrastructure of the future is prepared. Quick and accurate response, the network for remote power monitoring and measurement structure should be designed, modern and is flexible about the integration of new energy sources should be considered. Ensure continuity of power, the analysis methods and appropriate coordination with the realization of the future need to decide the structure of production both the transmission as well as the distribution system depends on intelligent design. The concept of smart grids, increasing the use of renewable energy sources more efficient use of fossil resources, problematic areas quickly isolate and prevent large-scale power outages, instantaneous monitoring of all points in the system and provides a more efficient energy management. Also IEC 61850 protocol, the structure of the joint action by the smart grid integration of the renewable energy sources to the national grid smoothly, data transfer of the network line speed does not up to manufacturer and small changes don?t cause in the major revisions. In this study, Smart Grids and Medium Voltage Level Applications with two sample examples, explanation of the sources to be examined literature and future perspectives thesis research is completed.
