Abstract (EN)

With swift momentum of technology cultural spaces apply different paths to meet their exhibitions to visitors. Videos, slide shows, mobile applications, touchscreens and interactive kiosks are being introduced by cultural spaces in time. Multimedia guide devices become secondary importance. Undoubtfully, one reason of this circumstance is overmuch information storage in guides. Thanks to technology everybody can reach information instantly and practically. Internet enable people to attain more data in whipstitch. Consequently, people become impetuous and hasty. Multimedia guides serving in cultural spaces should keep up with the times. Studies claim that intensive and long expressions in guides reduce the useage. The aim of this thesis is to propose an offer to multimedia guide contents. Expression samples are constituted as being long and short in terms of different grades. As guides prepared this way, it is thougt that visit duration can be extended. Antalya Kaleiçi is chosen as the research context following a literature review. Eight spots are determined on the route and interpretations are prepared as scope of the thesis. Design and implementation phases are beyond the scope of the research as they require technological infrastructure. Yet, thesis makes suggestions which can be beneficial for sectoral projects.
