Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, 1-gate and 2-gate basic analog circuits are introduced by using a CDBA component and g eneral c ircuits, to realize «.th degree c urrent transfer functions. To obtain these circuits, decomposition and signal flow graph methods are used. In the second chapter, CDBA component is defined and the topology of CDBA component, which works with CMOS components in ±3 V voltage, is presented. This topology is obtained by improving the circuit introduced by Sedef and Acar in year 2000. CMOS CDBA circuit is realized according to TÜBİTAK YİT AL 1.5 micron parameters. PSPICE program is used for DC, AC and temporary state analysis and circuit performance is evaluated. In the third chapter, fundamental circuit components are identified which take place in the literature and often used in the active circuit synthesis. Output values related to these components and signal flow graphs are obtained. These fundamental circuits are realized by CDBA components. In the fourth chapter, signal flow graph methods are presented and «.th degree general active filter structures which work in current mode are given. In the fifth chapter, working in current mode forth degree low pass, high pass, band pass, band rejection and all pass filter circuits are given for each signal flow graph method. The simulations are done in SPICE program and the Bode plots are drawn. Ideal CDBA and the CDBA circuits, which realized with CMOS, are compared in these simulations. In the sixth chapter, the layout of the CMOS CDBA circuit is done according to the TÜBİTAK YİT AL 1.5 micron design rules and the integrated circuit form is obtained. The parasitic capacities, which formed in layout stage, are calculated and simulation is done. In the seventh chapter, all conclusions, obtained in this thesis, are summurized. Keywords: Current mode circuits, Signal flow graph method, Current differencing buffered amplifier, Active filter design.
