Özet (EN)

Recently there is a growing interest to circuits using current conveyor and current conveyor based active elements which have led to a great number of applications in various designs of analogue electronics like amplifiers, filters, impedance converters, gyrators, oscillators or more generally signal processing circuits. In this dissertation, we focus on design of voltage-mode (VM), current-mode (CM), transimpedance-mode (TIM) and transadmittance-mode (TAM) filters using different kinds of current conveyors and current conveyor based active components. The dissertation contains two main sections; I. Second order filter structures, II. nth-order filter structures. The proposed structures have several advantages over existing filters in the literature such as use of less number of components, tolerable active and passive sensitivity properties, electronically controllability, high-output impedance for CM filters, low-output impedance for VM filters, use of grounded capacitor etc. The proposed filter structures and their sensitivities are analyzed for both ideal and nonideal cases. Their validities are verified through PSPICE simulations and/or experiments. Keywords: Current Conveyors, Current Conveyor Based Active Components, Currentmode Circuits, Voltage-mode Circuits, Active Filters, Multifunction Filters, General Synthesis Methods.
