Abstract (EN)

In this thesis research, the effects of black carrot juice on exercised rat liver tissues were investigated. In the research, rats were formed into Control (CON), Black Carrot (S), Exercise (E), Black Carrot + Exercise (SE) groups. Treadmill treadmill was used in the exercise program. Rats were acclimated by running on the treadmill for two weeks. Acute exercise program was applied one day later and liver tissues were obtained from the rats. Biochemical parameters such as MDA, GSH, GR, GST, AChE and Ces enzyme activity levels were determined in the tissues. While MDA, AChE, GST and Ces enzyme activity levels in the E group increased compared to the K group, GR and GSH levels decreased. AChE, GST and Ces enzyme activities in the S group increased compared to the CON group. While GSH level in the SE group increased compared to the E group; AChE, GST enzyme activities and MDA levels decreased. As a result, the antioxidant effect and protective effect of black carrot juice on the liver tissues of rats subjected to acute exercise were observed.
