Abstract (EN)
Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) is the luminescence emitted from an irradiated insulator or semiconducter during exposure to visible light. The OSL l intensity is a function of THA radiation dose absorbed by the sample and thus can be used as the basis of a radiation dosimetry system. Analysis of Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) decay curve cannot be easily explained and the temperature effects are an important factor which affects the OSL decay curve shape.The use of Al2O3: C material has become an important tool as dosimetry applications. In this study, temperature and dose dependence of OSL decay curve from Al2O3:C are experimentally examined, and described the behaviour of OSL as a function of temperature (from room temperature to 300 0C) and dose (2, 4, 6 and 8 Gy). OSL emission spectra from Al2O3:C have been measured and the decay constants were obtained.
