Encountered problems of foreign secondary students in the case of Alanya

Worldviews of students differentiate between Turkish and foreign ones. Based on these differences, it is expected that all educational and teaching activities should include expected global values and without discrimination on any matter. One of the important assignment of education is that the behavior which 21.century and in the later years expect to human beings and new skills should be gained. For this thesis it is aimed to draw attention to differences on educational activities between cities which have multicultural social structure in Turkey such as İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Mardin, Mersin, Antalya, Alanya, Fethiye, Bodrum, Marmaris. For this reason, Alanya district, which is located in Antalya city, is selected for field of study. Secondary school students in public and private schools are determined and the questionnaire is conducted to these students and their parents. Verbal and written interviews with teachers and school directors of foreign students are implemented. The data obtained are analyzed and interpreted by doing this current situation is described. The study includes five sections. First section includes statement of the problem and purpose, importance, premises, restrictions of the study. Second section includes globalization, migration, multicultural education concepts and related topics about these concepts. Third section includes the method. Fourth section includes results of the questionnaire which collect from foreign students in secondary school in Alanya and their parents. Fifth section includes results and suggestions. At the end of this study, I expect to develop a new point of view about multicultural education on managers, teachers and foreign students' parents and Turkish families in educational field because the Global World necessitate multicultural education.
