Abstract (EN)

The increasing demand for electrical energy day by day is in parallel with the development of societies, however, on the contrary to the increasing need, the inadequacy of some energy resources to meet the needs and their harm to the environment have necessitated the search for new energy sources. Insufficiency of energy is a critical environmental factor that not only reduces living standards but also is risky enough to stop services and production and negatively affect the lives of future generations. In recent years, efforts to popularize renewable energy sources, as well as awareness campaigns and incentives for efficient energy consumption, saving measures and reducing losses in the consumption of existing energy; are becoming the main themes of countries' energy policies and strategies. In our country, efforts to popularize efficient energy consumption and environmental impacts are progressing with new technologies and incentive policies. For this reason, in order to reduce technical losses, investment programs are expanded and old electricity networks are renewed, while electricity distribution companies are trying to develop effective combat methods specific to their service areas for non-technical losses. In this study, by designing an internet of things (IoT) based system, we have produced a solution to the problems of detecting technical and non-technical losses at the low voltage level, and in the future, especially the organizations providing high loss electricity distribution services in Turkey can be integrated into low voltage underground electrical energy distribution networks, and the existing smart field managements can be achieved. It is intended to be a part of In this way, it will be possible to facilitate the detection of non-technical losses and to detect technical losses earlier depending on communication technology. Our work has a system and hardware structure that can be obtained at a low cost. Our system design is designed as a flexible structure that can be integrated into existing tracking systems and has the ability to work alone. With this study, we aim to enable energy distribution companies to provide the quality energy service their consumers need and to use smart field management more effectively.
