Personality conflict in the works of Aleksandr Soljenitsyn One Day In The Life of Ivan Denisovich and Cancer Ward

The aim of our study of Personality Conflict in the Works of Aleksandr Soljenitsyn ''One Day In The Life of Ivan Denisovich'' and ''Cancer Ward'' is to analyze the works, which reflected the personality conflict, of A. Soljenitsyn who was affected by the political change in Russia during his lifetime and to thrust the writer's personality structure to forefront and to promote him as he is not very popular in Turkey. During the preparation of the thesis, the conflict concept, its definition and types are studied and the works which constitute the subject of the thesis were read both in Russian and Turkish so that the personality conflicts were determined and interpreted. There has been no psycological aspected study on the works of Aleksandr Soljenitsyn. This study enabled us to get to know the writer closely and to understand the personality conflicts of pratagonists in Aleksandr Soljenitsyn works where psycology and literature collide. Key Words 1.
