Özet (EN)

The aim of this study was to investigate applicability of the Interpretive Sociology of Alfred Schutz to the Sociology of Religion. Chapter One presents the intellectual and philosophical grounds of Phenomenological Sociology of Alfred Schutz and information on his life, who is considered as the founder of the Interpretive Sociology.The ten basic concepts he used that are required to understand his phenomenological approach were described and information about his social theory and the issues regarding his Philosophy of Social were presented in Chapter two.In Chapter Three, his Interpretive Sociology was scrutinized. The subjects and methods and in the same context issues about type of acts, actions, social actions, social relations and mulitple life-worlds were analyized.The applicability of Interpretive Sociology of Afred Schutz in Sociology of Religion was examined in Chapter Four. The examination was conducted in two steps: First in the conceptual, then in the topical contexts.The dissertation was compeleted with a general assessment of the study.
