Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is to reveal the relationship between the perceived transformational and interactional leadership styles of hotel managers and the irstrategiesused in conflict management. The universe of the research is composed of the employees of a 5-star hotel in Alanya district of Antalya province, who have the management certificate of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The sample was not selected in the research, and it was tried to reach the whole universe. The data were collected through a questionnaire. The data collection process in the research was carried out between April-September 2020. The data in the questionnaires were analyzed with the SPSS 25.0 software. Differences tests (t-test and ANOVA) and correlation analysis were used in the analysis of the data collected from 389 hotel business employees. Finally, while a significant relationship was found between the perceived transformational leadership style of hotel managers and integration with the sub-dimensions of conflict management strategies at a moderate level, compliance with high level, with avoidance and reconciliation at a weak level, no significant relationship was found between transformational leadership and pressure. A weak, positive significant relationship was found between the interactionist leadership style and the sub-dimensions of conflict management strategies, including integration, compliance, pressure, avoidance, and compromising.
