Perceived organizational supports and employees career satisfactions impact on intent to leave: An investigation of hospitality businesses

Abstract (EN)

In this study, the basic goal has been identified as the determination of the correlation between perceived organizational support, career satisfaction, and intent to leave in accommodation businesses covered 5 star hotel employees?. In this context, relationships between perceived organizational support and career satisfaction, perceived organizational support and intent to leave, and career satisfaction and intent to leave have been examined separately.Population of the study has been determined as the staff who works at 5 star hotels in Kundu area. According to the information of 16 hotels of human resources managers given, these hotels have 6914 employees in total. The implementation has been made with in total 6 hotels, 211 questionnaires have been taken into consideration, Spearman Correlation, Kruskal Wallis H, Mann Whitney U and regression analysis were used in data analysis process.In the study, positive and intermediate-level correlation has been found between career satisfaction and organizational support and organizational support has been identified with intent to leave in negative and intermediate-level correlation. In addition, obtained in accordance with the information, it is determined that organizational support and career satisfaction have a mediate role on intention to leave. Having career satisfaction and intention to leave a negative correlation is also one of the results achieved in the study.Due to the fact that perceived organizational supports and employees? career satisfactions impact on intent to leave is a topic that has not been handled in the tourism sector before, it is expected that the final findings will make an important contribution to the literature. Furthermore, it is assumed that taking the advantage of the results of this study, organizations in tourism sector may develop different aspects for their attitudes toward employees, applications? and regulations? results, thus productivity of the management will be increased.Key Words: Tourism, Accomodation Business, Perceived Organizational Support, Career Satisfaction, Intend To Leave, Antalya
