Development of a scale for measuring perceived organizational politics in a relevant context

Abstract (EN)

In every place of our lifes, we expose or are exposed by others to political effects as social beings. The most important places for managing policy are corporate organizations without doubt. In order to determine the management tools, first of all, correct and realiable meausuring tools are needed for defining perceived organizational politics. During the research phase, it's determined that different types of same import scale has been used at the theses in national literature about perception of organizational politics. At the meta analysis study of Deniz Dirik and Hakkı Okan Yeloğlu in 2020, according to outcomes of perceived organizational politics, necessity of developing a scale including the social structure we live in, culture and language characteristics. After a comprehensive past literature review, the policy issue will be examined in detail and the course of measurement processes in national and international literature will be presented. Following the needs analysis, the steps to develop a new scale will be followed, with the aim of national researchers having a new scale that is in their own language, appropriate to the society and cultural structure, and whose reliability and validity have been approved.
