Ali Haydar Efendi and his views of jurisprudence

Ali Haydar Efendi is an important legist who lived in the last years of the Ottoman State and in the first years of the Republic. As a carrier and interpreter of our Islamic law heritage, with his named work "Dürerü'l-Hükkâm Şerhu Mecelleti'l-Ahkâm" annotated Mecelle and this area has performed important services in our recent history. Ali Haydar Efendi, with his named work "Dürerü'l-Hükkâm Şerhu Mecelleti'l-Ahkâm" not content with annotate Mecelle, also legal areas that Mecelle does not deal with by completing and sampling aimed at embodying it. Our thesis consists of introduction, three sections and conclusion. In the Introduction, the name and subject of the thesis, the objective of the thesis, the im-portance of the subject of the thesis, the scope and limitations of the thesis and the sources of the thesis have been discussed. In the first section, under the title "Ali Haydar Efendi and his lived period" about Ali Haydar Efendi's life, scientific personality and his works and the legal and political structure of the time he lived were given. In the second section, under the title "Ali Haydar Efendi and Jurisprudence", "Ali Haydar Efendi and Jurisprudence (Fıgh)", "Ali Haydar Efendi and religious evidence" were deal with. This section forms the main body of our work. In the third section, under the title "Ali Haydar Efendi and His Views of Jurisprudence"; "Ali Haydar Efendi and Case Law", "Ali Haydar Efendi and Islamic Heritage Law", "Ali Haydar Efendi and Lost Person", and "Ali Haydar Efendi and Subsistences" were deal with.
