An examination on the sections out of the stories in Ali Şir Nevâyî's hamse

In this thesis study, which was prepared by examining the parts of the mathnawis in Alî Şîr Nevâyî's hamse that are not included in the main story, the topics that the poet dealt with in these sections were presented by identifying and classifying them. After giving information about Alî Şîr Nevâyî and his hamse in the introduction of the thesis, which consists of an introduction and three parts, the main studies that were written to reflect Nevâyî's personality were introduced by specifying the purpose, scope and method of the thesis. In the first part of the thesis, titled "'Sebeb-i Telif's in Alî Şîr Nevâyî's Hamse", the causes of the masnavis in Nevâyî's hamse are determined and given, while in the second section titled "Important Themes and Concepts in Ali Şîr Nevâyî's Hamse", Nevâyî's poetic views, his thoughts on the Iran history and mythology, moral values, and concepts such as basmala, heart, himmet, predestination and destiny were examined and presented. In the third chapter titled "Persons in the Hamse of Alî Şîr Nevâyî", which is the most comprehensive part of the thesis, especially the poet's poems about God and Prophet Muhammed, his praises to religious-mystical persons, statesmen, poets and other personalities, especially the praise of the Prophet Muhammed, were given by examining them. It was determined that Nevâyî's praises of religious-mystical persons Hâce Bahaeddin Nakşibend and Hâce Ubeydullah Ahrâr, statesmen Sultan Hüseyin Baykara and his son Sultan Bediüzzaman Mirza, poets Nizâmî-i Gencevî, Emîr Hüsrev-i Dihlevî, Eşref-i Merâgî and Molla Abdurrahman Câmî praises, from other personalities Hüseyin Baykara's wife Hanım Sultan was praised. In this thesis, it is aimed to reveal the versatile portrait of Nevâyî in terms of religious-mystical, scientific, literary, political, moral and philosophical aspects and to contribute to the studies on Nevâyî's personality.
