Abstract (EN)

With the developing technology, the amount of water used in the industry also increases. The waters used are left as polluted water to the environment. There are many methods for the recovery and treatment of these waters, which are discharged into the environment as wastewater. Among these methods, the adsorption method, which has practical application and is economical, has a wide range of uses since it has many advantages. Many adsorbents are used in the adsorption process. Among these, natural adsorbents that are both very easy to find and very cheap are more preferred. In this study; alkaline expanded perlite and alkaline perlite were synthesized by modifying with perlite and expanded perlite NaOH and used in adsorption of methylene blue. The synthesized alkali expanded perlite and alkaline perlite characterization were performed with SEM, XRD and FTIR. In methylene blue adsorption; solution initial concentration and effect of solution initial pH parameters were investigated. Adsorption of methylene blue was examined by the response surface method. In the response surface method, the solution initial concentration, temperature and time parameters were examined and adsorption capacity (qe) was chosen as the response parameter. Response surface method; It was examined by the central composite design method within the design expert program. ANOVA tables and regression equation were determined by response surface method. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphics of the adsorption capacity of methylene blue were obtained by surface response method.
