Abstract (EN)

The rapid development of technology, the ease of access to information and the increase in new opportunities cause human resources functions and especially recruitment processes to become digital and change. It has been observed that businesses have also been affected by these change processes and have turned more towards their labor potential under competitive conditions. Companies' management practices, approach to employees and evaluations are of great importance in recruitment processes. The phenomenon of globalization today has begun to highlight management policies and human factors. While trying to keep up with these changing conditions, businesses have contributed to the development of human resources management approaches by allocating high budgets to issues such as personnel recruitment, development and meeting their needs. Competition in the recruitment of qualified and high-potential employees has become more important in businesses that emphasize institutionalism. In this context, the recruitment position is of critical importance in the growth of businesses, in ensuring employee loyalty and, most importantly, in recruiting the right and potential employees. The increasing competitive environment in finding a job has made it necessary for individuals to develop self-improvement and skills. Therefore, reaching qualified people to provide and select personnel in businesses, wage policies, job analysis and employment policies based on job descriptions constitute the most difficult issues of human resources. The human factor is the most important element that directs the development of businesses and causes their success or failure. In this thesis, the factors that may have a positive or negative impact on the recruitment processes in the human resources departments of businesses were evaluated together with the quantitative results obtained from a survey. Qualified personnel selection is a challenging process planned and completed by human resources units. Recruitment processes are one of the main issues that lead companies to success and ensure their continuity. Within the scope of the research, the factors of the lack of qualified personnel in human resources and the difficulties experienced in the recruitment processes in this context were touched upon. Lack of qualified personnel is an important problem experienced in all sectors. Even this situation is an indication that all responsibility in this regard does not belong to human resources units. Human resources units are not responsible for problems arising from uncertainties such as social, environmental, political and labor market during the recruitment processes. There are also factors that affect qualified personnel's choice of companies where they want to work. In particular, we can list conditions such as fair wage policy, financial conditions, and fringe benefits. Qualified people are needed for businesses to be successful. This process created by human resources units should be based on needs and fair.
