Özet (EN)

The beginning of 20th century is remembered by wars which caused major destructions which words even numbers can't describe such as war machines killing people serially, millîons of people dying on the fronts and same number of civlians killed by bombs in their homes, more than five millîon civilians murdered in German camps, more than 6 millîon people killed in the revolution in Russia. What are the reasons for the World Wars that caused the death of 20 millîon people during the first one and 50 millîon people during the second one? Had Germany made it a habit to occupy Paris and turned it into a desire/passion? Or did the science and theories of this science which had its basic issues based on world domination an effect? And today what are the real dynamics of ongoing civil wars and terror incidents through out the world ? How was geopolitics born and what is its goals? How does it effect countries, leaders and world politics? How does German expansionism and geopolitic theories connect? This work comprises of two main chapters within the framework of these questşons and the possible answers; the first chapter focus on the history of geopolitic theory, theoricians and their fundemental ideas, the second chapter is about German expansionism and geopolitical practices through the wars this expansionism caused. In this context this work emphasises German geopolitic tools and German expansionism. Keywords: Geopolitics, Geostrategy, Strategy, National Power, Political Geography, German Expansionism, German Geoplitics, Hitler, II World War, National Socialism.
