The investigation of shopping centers effects on local scale entrepreneurship

Shopping is a concept that has been changed since people have started to produce. Changing shopping concept is to require changing of the preferred places for shopping. Today, shopping centers that based on the covered market structure models are to be preferred by consumers. The reason of this prefer is shopping centers to have modernity, diversity and social environments. When consumers fill their needs, at the same time, they want to have fun and to socialize. This situation is to increase the importance of shopping centers. Shopping centers are categorized according to size and there are many different shopping center types. This situation is differentiate shopping centers from other shopping places.Local scale entrepreneurships don?t have that shopping centers have many features. This lacks reveal the negative results in terms of local entrepreneurships. Espcially, local entrepreneurships don?t rival against shopping centers. This situation hinders growthing and flourishing local entrepreneurships. Shopping centers impact cities in terms of physical, economical and social. Shopping centers contribute development of cities but they may hinder for the survival of local entrepreneurships. Besides, shopping centers foster trade in cities may impact local entrepreneurships positively a little.In this research, shopping centers and their effects were investigated theoretically. Later, a survey was conducted upon local entrepreneurships for determining shopping centers negative effect on local entrepreneurships. At the result of research, it was determined that shopping centers impact local entrepreneurships negatively.
