Abstract (EN)
ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES, WIND ENERGY AND ITS REALIZATION SUMMARY Key Words: Alternative energy sources, wind energy, wind turbines People needs energy to continue their lives. The most widely used energy sources in daily life are; electric, heat, light, sun and chemical energies. Electric energy is obtained generally by using fossil fuels. The reserves of the fossile fuels are becoming less. Besides this fuels are very harmfull for the environment. For this reason new energy sources must be used. These sources are called alternative enery sources. In this thesis; alternative energy sources and especially wind energy sources are studied. Among the alternative energy resources wind energy is regarded as an important source from the point of both being a potential energy source and being a friedly source to the environment. In addition the production of electric from the wind energy is studied. The turbines which are used to produce electric are analized and a wind turbine application is put into practice. With this application it is thought to answer the needs and to inspire the future studies by producing electric from the wind energy.
