Abstract (EN)
The Golden Horde State, which has a very important place in the history of Turkestan, has a significant past in terms of both Mongolian and Turkish history. The Golden Horde State, founded by Batu Khan, the grandson of Genghis Khan, in the Deşt-i Kipchak geography was influenced by many Turkish tribes, especially Cuman/Kipchak, Uyghur, Oghuz and Bulgarian tribes. The Golden Horde State, which was influenced by the geography it was founded in political, religious, cultural and linguistic matters, turned into a Turkish-Islamic state by getting rid of the Mongolian identity with the influence of the Turks in the state. The Golden Horde Mongols, who were influenced first by the bureaucrat Uyghurs and then by the Cuman/Kipchak and Oghuzs in the army, both met the religion of Islam through the Turks and created patronage for great Turkish works in the field of language and literature. In this study, the Turkish presence in Deşt-i Kipchak before the establishment of the Golden Horde State, how the Golden Horde Mongols were affected by the Turks from its foundation to the interregnum, and which factors came to the fore in this Turkization process were examined in detail.
