Abstract (EN)
In this research, the aim is to analyze evaluating of estimation skill of the Primary school sixth,seventh and eiğht year mathematic course program in term of teachers' views. The study also aims at developing suggestions in line with teachers' perspectives about acquisition of estimation skill. In this research, a descriptive study was designed as a cross hatching model. There were two techniques used for data collection; which were quantitative and qualitative methods. To begin with, an example of the quantitative research was done in Adana, in the 2013–2014 of academic year. In this research, questionnaire forms which were developed by Aslan (2011) were used as data gathering instrument. İnterviews and observations were also made. The result of the study showed that teachers said that with activity of estimation skills students learnt to defend self-opinions and they accepted mistakes of selfopinions. Teachers, time failure, socio-economic differences and individual differences among students due to crowding activities have difficulties in practice. Most of the teachers in activities to gain the ability estimates from the textbook and reference books are surely benefit from İnterview and observation results support each other.
