Abstract (EN)
Keywords: Composite, Metal Matrix, Mechanical Property, Powder MetallurgyThe importance of composite materials has been increased in the light of developments observed in science and technology. Today, technology needs multi- functional materials. Therefore, researchers try to find new composite production methods to develop more qualified and functional composite materials. MMCs (Metal Matrix Composites) have an important role due to their high yield strength, high Young Modulus, high compression strength, high wear resistant, low thermal expansion coefficient and high temperature resistant. In this study, Aluminum having 99,9 % purity was used as matrix material and alumina (Al203) powder as reinforcement material to produce Metal Matrix Composites (MMCs). These materials were mixed in powder form with different compositions and the mechanical properties of these products were investigated.
