Abstract (EN)
Aluminium curtain walls are prepared in accordance with the modular coordination principles. They are not included in the carrier system of the construction itself. They are the buildings shell that transfer their own weight and load to the carrier system of the building by the use of connectors. In order to select the carrier system, many criteria and alternatives should be assessed. With this feature, the problem "Aluminium Curtain Wall Carrier System" have characteristics of a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem. There are several methods for the solution of MDCM problems in the literature. Some of them can be listed as; AHP, PROMETHEE, MOORA, VIKOR, UTA, ELECTRE, Grey Incidence Analysis etc. In this study; the solution of the MCDM problem "Aluminium Curtain Wall Carrier System Selection" designed for a trade center that had been planned to be constructed was aimed. In order to achieve this, the methods AHP and PROMETHEE were used and hybrid solution of AHP-PROMETHEE which is a combination of the two was performed. In order to make the calculations, decision between alternatives such as "Panel System", "Semi-Panel System" or "Stick System" were provided with the help of expert opinions. Three basic criteria were constructed as; "Main Criteria", "Application Criteria" and "Risk Criteria". Afterwards, in order to solve the problem according to the AHP method, sub criteria of these basic criteria are determined and the ranking of the importance of each sub-criterion compared to each other were done by the help of experts. Subsequent to this, the comparison matrices and priority values of criteria were calculated. After calculating the priority values of alternatives, ranking of alternatives were performed. Then, solution was performed with the PROMETHEE method. Criteria in this method were scored by the experts. In this calculation, criterial weights were considered as equal. Afterwards, Preference Functions were assigned to each criteria. Ranking of alternatives were performed with PROMETHEE I, PROMETHEE II approaches and GAIA Plane analysis. Lastly, AHP-PROMETHEE Hybrid solution was applied. In this approach, the criterion weights calculated by the AHP method and data set generated by using decimal Ricat Scale were used in the calculations done with the PROMETHEE-MCDM method. PROMETHEE I, PROMETHEE II and GAIA Plane analyzes were applied on the results. Alternatives were ranked by evaluating the results. Consequently, alternative rankings that had been calculated by three different aprroach were compared. As a result of the comparisons, the most suitable carrier system was defined as the Panel System. In consequence of the study, it is defined that, AHP-PROMETHEE Hybrid Solution of the problem "Aluminium Curtain Wall Carrier System Selection" can be performed in an admissible and applicable level.
