Abstract (EN)

Keywords: Powder metallurgy, aluminum, graphene oxide, metal matrix composites In this study, composite materials with Al matrix, in which graphene oxide (0.5%wt, 1%wt, 2%wt) is preferred as reinforcement material, were produced by powder metallurgy method. Before applying the powder metallurgy method, graphene oxide powders were subjected to electroless coating in a Ni-P bath. Pure Al and 0.5%wt, 0.1%wt, 0.2%wt graphene oxide reinforced aluminum matrix composite powder mixture was obtained in a steel mold with a cylindrical cavity with a diameter of 15 mm, and disc-shaped samples were obtained by pressing under 250MPa pressure with unidirectional pressure and ECAS (Electric Current Activated) /Assisted Sintering) method, these discs were sintered. The effect of the additive ratios of pure Al and graphene oxide (0.5%wt, 1%wt, 2%wt) on the density, tribological properties, porosity, mechanical properties (Vickers hardness, abrasion resistance, yield, and tensile strength), and microstructure of the composites were observed on the bulk samples produced. tests were used to examine it. The tests were performed in convenient room conditions and at the optimum level.
