Abstract (EN)

In this study, an experiment to sense electrochemically in a short time the action of paints and coatings applied onto aluminum surfaces was developed. Corrosion behavior of samples painted, coated with polypyrrole as primer and then treated with chromate was investigated with electrochemical noise and electrochemical polarization tests. When pyrrole is added in varying proportions into epoxy paint, increase of pyrrole concentration increases the resistance of the paint against corrosion. A better protection was ensured in samples painted with water-base paints after being coated with polypyrrole as compared to samples treated with chromate. In addition, it was found out that the protective feature of the coating against corrosion was increased if Ppy coating allowed for a long time in open air before painting. Key Words : Polypyrolle, corrosion, aluminium
