Abstract (EN)
This study has been made in order to determine the usage possibilities of aggregate which are obtained in aggregate reserves in the river Yeşilırmak basin in Amasya, which has naturel aggregate reserves in ready concrete establishments. The production of the ready concrete and its usage has increased in great degrees in recent years which the constructing sector has developed rapidly. A lot of firms which have either small or big capacity have been producing ready concrete. But at the end of the researches which were made, it has been observed that the concrete which has been produced in this sector have some problems in reaching the resistance value which is aimed in general. The problem factors in the raise of the ready concrete quality seen to be the insufficiency of materials, labour and technical knowlodge. In this study, it has been researched that the usage of agregas in Amasya region can affect the ready mix concrete quality in its usage in the ready concrete production. As a result, it has been observed that the aggregate which are obtained from the reserves can be used in the production of BS 16 concrete as long as they are washed and standard granule distribution is provided.
