Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, which is named as "Faith and Rituals in the Amasya Region Alevi Quarries: Ali Pir Civan Quarry Sample", the concept of quarry is emphasized. January is described as the lineage to which ancestor spirits and grandfather are attached. In the pre-Islamic period, ancestors appear as a cult. With the transition of societies living in Anatolian geography to Islam, the concept of the cult and ancestors cult has been made in accordance with the Islamic framework. The hearth manifests itself in the Anatolian Alevism, which has a heterodox structure. In Anatolia, the quarries spread from the main quarries to the sub-quarries, forming a large fan. As a result of this range, various practices have been created around the concepts of hearth and grandfather in Anatolian Alevi. These rituals influenced the individual life and religious life of the Alevi community. Beliefs and rituals in the concept of hearth around the Anatolian Alevism were discussed on the example of Ali Pir Civan Quarry in Sarayözü Village of Gümüşhacıköy district of Amasya province. Ali Pir Civan Quarry is the second largest quarry in the region with a high number of suitors. Especially in this study, religious practices (meeting), which are continued to be carried out by the people and suitors, are the subject. The social and individual meanings of the cem rituals were determined. During the Cem rituals and in individual life, the place of sacrifice ritual in Ali Pir Civan Quarry and local tradition is conveyed. The concepts of belief that contain blessings for the Alevi community, the breaths (sayings) read in the cems and the rituals performed around the tomb of Ali Pir Civan. In addition, the rumors about Ali Pir Civan, who gave his name to the hearth and was accepted as the founder of the hearth, were told. The tradition of minstrelsy and psychedelic living around the hearth was emphasized. Lovers grown in the Ali Pir Civan Quarry were identified. The result to be reached within the scope of this thesis is the reflection of the concept of quarry in Amasya region. In addition, the life of Ali Pir Civan, which was conveyed by the Alevi people of the Amasya region over more than one narration, was unearthed. The real identity of Ali Pir Civan's father, the blood ties with Keçeci Baba and Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli were determined. It was clarified by whom or by whom Ali Pir Civan was martyred by the local people. The changes in the ritual and belief structure of the suitors of the Ali Pir Civan Quarry in the previous period were emphasized. The differences and similarities of the quarry with the local quarries and other quarries were determined. It has been determined that the concepts of minstrelsy and poverty are carried out separately in Amasya region. It is stated that the lover knows the knowledge of the led and that zakir is obliged to sing the words of the lover who knows this knowledge in cem and conversation.
