Abstract (EN)
Oribatid mites belonging to genus Lucoppia collected from Amasya province between the dates February 2015 and January 2016 were investigated and the species Lucoppia burrowsi (Michael, 1890) has been identified. This species firstly recorded from Turkey. Measurements belonging to varius parts of the species have been taken and SEM and light microscopy investigations have been done. Comparision of the firstly recorded species with the other species of genus has been done and their distributions have been given. Keywords: Acari, Oribatid, Lucoppia, New record, Turkey
