A study on the Lygaeoidea (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) fauna of Amasya province, Turkey

In this study, which was carried out with 1123 adult specimens belonging to the Lygaeoidea superfamily collected from 79 localities with different vegetation from Amasya and its surroundings in 2020-2021, 21 species belonging to 11 genera belonging to the family Lygaeidae, 3 species belonging to 1 genus belonging to the family Cymidae, 3 species belonging to 2 genera belonging to the family Blissidae. Species, 7 species belonging to 1 genus belonging to the family Geocoridae, 1 species belonging to 1 genus belonging to the family Artheneidae, 3 species belonging to 2 genera belonging to the family Heterogasteridae, 6 species belonging to 4 genera belonging to the family Oxycarenidae, 40 species belonging to the 22 genera belonging to the family Rhyparochromidae, 1 species belonging to the family Piesmatidae and 5 species belonging to 5 genera belonging to the Berytidae family a total of 90 species belonging to 50 genera in 10 families were determined. Among the detected species, 33 species belonging to 25 genera were recorded for the Black Sea Region for the first time, and 18 species belonging to 14 genera were recorded for the first time in the Central Black Sea Region, where the study area is located. 87 species belonging to 48 genera were determined for the first time from Amasya, the research area, with this study. In addition, Drymus ryeii Douglas & Scott, 1865 belonging to the Rhyparochromidae family was identified as a new record for the Heteroptera fauna of Turkey and Apterola lownii (Saunders, 1876), Lygaeosoma anatolicum Seidenstücker, 1960, Dimorphopterus blissoides (Barensprung, 1859), Emblethis amplus Seidenstücker, 1987, Emblethis latus Seidenstücker, 1966, Emblethis nox Kiritshenko, 1912, Emblethis sabulosus Seidenstücker, 1963, lschnodemus caspius Jakovlev, 1871, lschnocoris hemipterus (Schilling, 1829), Megalonotus emarginatus (Rey, 1888), Trapezonotus dispar Stål, 1872, Apoplymus pectoralis Fieber, 1859, Berytinus geniculatus (Horváth, 1885), Gampsocoris culicinus Seidenstücker, 1948 new locality information has been added.
