A study on the Miridae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) fauna of Amasya province, Turkey

Abstract (EN)
In this study, conducted with 971 adult samples belonging to the Miridae family collected from 72 localities with different vegetation in Amasya and its surroundings in 2020-2021, A total of 48 species belonging to 25 genera in 5 subfamilies, including 3 species belonging to 2 genera belonging to 1 tribe from the Bryocorinae subfamily, 5 species belonging to 1 genus belonging to 1 tribe from the Deraeocorinae subfamily, 29 species belonging to 15 genera belonging to 3 tribes from the Mirinae subfamily, 4 species belonging to 2 genera belonging to 2 tribes from the Orthotylinae subfamily, 7 species belonging to 5 genera belonging to 1 tribe from the subfamily Phylinae.have been identified. Of the identified species, 13 species belonging to 10 genera from the Black Sea Region, and 11 species belonging to 10 genera from the Central Black Sea Region located in which the research region were recorded fort he first time. 40 species belonging to 23 genera were determined with this study for the first time from Amasya, which is the research region. In addition, new locality informations were added to the rare distributed species Adelphocoris detritus (Fieber, 1861), Orthops (Montanorthops) forelii Fieber, 1858, Phytocoris (Ktenocoris) varipes Boheman, 1852, Polymerus (Poeciloscytus) brevicornis (Reuter, 1879) and to the species Polymerus (Polymerus.) holosericeus Hahn, 1831 and Halticus pusillus (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1835).
