Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in 2022 in Amasya province located in the Central Black Sea part of Türkiye. The aim of the research was to identify the species belonging to the Cicadellidae family distributed in Amasya province. Research materials were collected with insect nets during the daytime from habitats at different altitudes in Amasya province. The collected samples were prepared according to the standard insect preparation method and turned into museum specimens. After examining in detail the taxonomically important characteristics of the specimens, such as body size and shape, genital structures, colors and patterns, the species were identified by comparing the descriptions and figures given in the literature and the previously identified samples. As a result of the research, 15 species distributed in Amasya province were identified. These species are given with their synonyms in the systematic order given by Nast (1972). Detected species; Anaceratagallia glabra Dmitriev, 2020; Anaceratagallia ribauti (Ossiannilsson, 1938); Batracomorphus irroratus Lewis, 1834; Hebata decipiens (Paoli, 1930); Arboridia versuta (Melichar, 1897); Opsius stactogalus Fieber, 1866; Neoaliturus fenestratus (Herrich-Schäffer, 1834); Macrosteles quadripunctulatus (Kirschbaum, 1868); Doratura homophyla (Flor, 1861); Euscelidius variegatus (Kirschbaum, 1858); Arocephalus longiceps (Kirschbaum, 1868); Artianus manderstjernii (Kirschbaum, 1868); Euscelis lineolata Brullé, 1832; Psammotettix confinis (Dahlbom, 1850) ve Psammotettix alienus (Dahlbom, 1850). Among these species, B. irroratus, O. stactogalus, N. fenestratus, M. quadripunctulatus and E. variegatus were detected for the first time in this study as a new record for the Amasya fauna. The results of the study may contribute to future studies.
