Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the sports injury anxiety levels of football players playing in amateur league according to various variables. The research sample consisted of 306 amateur football players who played in amateur football teams in Hatay province, who voluntarily participated in the research with the descriptive survey method. "Sports Injury Anxiety Scale" and "Personal Information Form" created by the researcher were used as data collection tools. The data were collected through Google Form data collection tool and a questionnaire by interviewing the football players face to face. The collected data were evaluated in SPSS 23 package program, Normality test was performed, Frequency, percentage, T-Test, ANOVA Variance analysis tests were applied to analyze the data. LSD test was used as a post-hoc analysis to determine the differences between the groups. When the findings obtained in the study were evaluated, the difference between the injury anxiety sub-dimensions level scores of the football players in terms of age, gender, active football playing time variables was not significant (p>0.05). In terms of the educational status variable, it was determined that the anxiety levels of football players with undergraduate and high school graduates in the sub-dimension of "Re-injury Anxiety" were higher than those of primary school graduates (p<0.05). In terms of the status of experiencing injury before, it was determined that the soccer players who experienced injury in the sub-dimension of "Re-injury Anxiety" experienced a high level of anxiety (p<0,05). According to the environment in which the injury occurred, it was seen that the "Re-Injury Anxiety" levels of the soccer players who were injured in training and competition were high (p<0,05). Footballers who were injured by the contact of the opponent player were found to have high levels of anxiety in the sub-dimensions of "Poor Perception Anxiety" and "Re-injury Anxiety" (p<0.05). It was observed that soccer players who underwent surgery due to injury had high levels of anxiety in the sub-dimensions of "Anxiety of Losing Ability" and "Anxiety of Re-injury" and in the scale dimension (p<0.05). A significant difference was found in the sub-dimension of "Re-injury anxiety" in the "Ankle-Knee-Leg" region in terms of the body region where the injury occurred the most (p<0.05). As a result, it was seen that high school and undergraduate football players who had high school and undergraduate education, who experienced injury, who were injured in training and competition, who were injured as a result of contact with an opponent player, who underwent surgery, and who experienced injury frequently in the lower extremity region experienced high levels of anxiety.
