From war movies that validate the American past to science fiction movies that build the American future: The evolution of Hollywood cinema

The American continent has been a continent where wars, conflicts and massacres took place hundreds of years before the United States was founded. After the establishment of the USA, there were many wars and conflicts. As a result of these wars, political, social and cultural areas of life were also affected. For this reason, a considerable number of war genre films have been produced in American cinema, Hollywood. During World War II and its aftermath, scientists who could not live in Europe migrated to America. In this way, the USA has become one of the developed states in science and technology. Therefore, a serious cultural accumulation has been formed in the science fiction genre of cinema. In the study, films about wars in American history and films about alternative futures were examined. By examining war movies, attention has been paid to how American war history is shown. In science fiction movies, the focus is on the USA in the near future and how the image of Americans is created.
