Abstract (EN)
Recently, fossil fuels are used as energy sources. But these fuels are exhausting and they damage the environment. For this reason, new energy sources are needed. Hydrogen, possessing all properties of an ideal fuel, is a good candidate for being future's fuel. However, hydrogen needs to be stored effectively and reliably for a wide-spread use in the daily life. For this reason, it is necessary to develop different hydrogen storage methods. Researches and developments focused on boron mineral and compounds due to can be effectively and more safely storage of hydrogen especially. Ammonia borane (NH3BH3), which has a hydrogen capacity og 19.6% (wt.), has made itself an attractive candidate for chemical hydrogen storage application. Aim of the thesis is production of NH3BH3 and determination of optimum production parameters. As a conclusion of experimental studies, 98% purity of NH3BH3 was produced with an excellent yield as 92%.
