Learning a sport branch is not be accomplished without receiving the necessary technical training for that branch. Hence this study has been done to determine the methods and phases used in the teaching of every technique in the swimming sport, which is one of the paralympic branches in amputee individuals.In this research, determining the methods used in the swimming training for the amputees and the effects of the results arising from the application of these methods on both the swimmer and the duration of the instruction is explained with a descriptive research.The literature about the research topic and the conceptual framework has ben scanned and required information has been gathered by interviewing with people who have worked with the amputee swimmers.Depending on these information and observations, it was realized that there are meaningful relations between amputees and swimming teaching. Those data and information have been evaluated through the purpose of the research.These elements have been analyzed through content analysis and obtained cases were interpreted.When the current situation about the topic is considered in our country, it is concluded that the studies that must be done in the handicapped sport are inadequate compared to our handicapped population.
