Abstract (EN)

In this study, three imine polymers containing hetero atom in main chain and two Schiff bases synthesised. The syntheses of polymers were carried out with HCl elimination in THF solution. The yields of polymers were found approximately %60. The chemical structure, thermal and electrical analyses of syntesized Schiff bases and polymers were investigated. The structure of synthesized monomers and polymers were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, TG ?DTG-DTA, DSC and DMA methods. According to FT-IR and 1H-NMR results, -HC=N- (azomethine) linkages have formed during polymerisation process. Also, fluorescence analysis of the compounds were carried out at different concentrations in methanol solution. When thermogravymetric (TG) analysis data were examined, synthesized polymers are more unstable than their monomers. This state was explained with silane and phosphosane groups into polymer chains. According to solubility test results, all of monomers synthesized were soluble in methanol.
