Abstract (EN)
Everybody has the innate ability to learn/acquire a natural language. Everyone can learn/acquire a foreign language within a certain time. Language acquisition occurs in a natural process. However, a second language is an intercultural indispensable communication element and it is a well-known fact that one cannot estimate whether we want to acquire/learn this element quickly and without any problem, we cannot change with attempt an external intervention of the natural acquisition process. In addition it is not known exactly how to transform this process for humanity's favor. According to the results of research on this subject, the acquisition process is linked closely with information witch we have about the natural acquisition process. However experience shows us that the external intervention in language acquisition sequence can cause both improvement and worsening. To learn a second language quickly and without a problem, the natural acquisition process is of great importance. But it is not well-known whether this process will be changed with an outside intervention or not and when it is changed, how this process can be used for the benefit of mankind. The subjects of the research on second language acquisition (L2) are principally the request to have more information on this natural process. We have reached following conclusions in this study regarding Turkophone learners' acquisition process of German's syntax and grammatical case as L2: - The acquisition of grammatical subject in the target language by Turkophone DaF students occur with both individually and non-individually acquisition sequence which are less affected from external intervention. - Acquisition phases are real natural acquisition sequence, and educational L2 input and L2 develop partially independent from systematic teaching sequence of courses. There are some reasons for the partial independence of systematic teaching sequence of L2 courses. - Grammatical rules of the target language offered systematically in classrooms should not be considered as entirely ineffective in L2 acquisition sequence. Because present L2 acquisition studies show us that teaching methods are important factors in L2 acquisition sequence, for the reason that a method with no input limitation directs students to the production of systematically taught grammatical structure. When we consider that the use of these structures named chunks have an important place in L2 acquisition and a important part of these are learnt from specific texts, we cannot expect an overlap between systematically taught grammatical structures and nature acquisition sequence. For a successful L2 acquisition, students are required to be exposed to specific texts and sufficient amount of linguistic input frequently. - To increase the consciousness of L2 language and contribute to interiorization of L2 grammatical structure produced chunks must be searched systematically with inductive methods with grammatical rules in sentences. In addition, we believe that the input related with by considering the linguistic rules of the target language to be presented to L2 students must be taught with natural acquisition sequence.
