Hatching performance of some brown trouts (Salmo trutta labrax, S. t. caspius, S. t. abanticus) hybrids distrubuted in Anatolia and parentage analysis based on microsatellite dna marker

In this study, interspesific hybridisation was carried out in three brown trout species, Black sea trout (Salmo trutta labrax), Caspian trout (Salmo trutta caspius) and Abant trout (Salmo trutta abanticus), distributed in Anatolia. Hatching performance of hybrids and purebred was investigated comperatively and parantage analysis was conducted using 16 microsatellit loci. Hybrids were obtained from all of the interspesific hybridisations. Eyeing, hatching and swim up durations was calculated as 20-23 day, 37-39 day and 54-65 day, respectively. Fertilisation rates were varied between 94.26±2.70 and 99.89±0.06. Hatching rates were ranged between 26.24±6.65 and 50.15±8.82. Larval survival rates were between 34.73±13.13 and 64.79±12.65 while incubation efficiencies were ranged between 24.81±6.42 and 49.03±8.18. There were no significant differences between groups. Based on microsatellite analysis, groups had 1-9 alleles per loci and effective allele size was calculated as 2,04- 3,51. In the parantage analysis, combined power of exclusion was >99,99 when at least one parent known. Therefore parent of offspring could be determined clearly. In addition, it was determined that gene transfer from mother to the offspring was clearly higher than that of father.
