Abstract (EN)
In today's world, photography has a very important place in the promotion of cultural heritage, accumulation and values. The unique geography and cultural diversity of Anatolia also has a high potential to produce very important works in the art of photography. In this context, when the art of photography is evaluated, Anatolian photographs have a great importance in terms of both revealing the values of our country and revealing unique works of art. In this context, a research design has been applied within the framework of the Anatolian photography movement in visual arts education. It has been aimed to determine whether the visual arts course, which includes the course content covering the art of photography and the Anatolian photography movement, has an effect on the success of secondary school students in art education in theoretical and practical dimensions. In addition, a photography activity consisting of pre-test and post-test application steps has been organized with the participation of the students. The study results obtained have been evaluated by the jury members reaching from the experts of the subject and the pretest and post-test results have been statistically evaluated. It has been determined that there are significant differences in the statistical data obtained. On the other hand, as a result of the photographs and evaluations obtained, it has been observed that the students had technical inadequacies in transforming their advantages into art, and that they gained significant gains in the art of photography together with the course contents applied in the context of the Anatolian photography movement.
