Özet (EN)

Most fertile time in terms of construction in Roman times in Asia Minor is during Emperor Hadrianus? reign. Hadrianus visited Asia Minor two times in A.D. 123-124 and A.D. 129-132 and exchanged ideas with local governors. There are three main reasons why Hadrianus is so interested in Asia Minor. Firstly the desire to revive the Panhellenic idea throughout the empire. Secondly Asia Minor being the birth place of second sophistic idea which is the center of the Panhellenic idea. And thirdly deification of Hadrianus under the neokoros cult. With the rise of the Panhellenic idea and under the influence of local governors and philosophers Hadrianus helped Asia Minor financially especially Mysia where he helped build cities under his name. He also helped other construction and reconstruction projects in other cities.Rich characteristics of Roman Architecture in Hadrianus Period in Asia Minor were tried to be explained by studying structures built under Hadrianus? reign under Architectural characteristic and Architectural Decoration, determining similar properties and outlining details specific to Hadrianus period.
