Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is tried to be determined the disciplinary problems faced by teachers working in Anatolian high schools and the ways to deal with them. In addition , the views of teachers ? classroom discipline and their ways of coping with them were examined by taking into consideration of their differentiation in gender, age, seniority, school, education, and duration of working in the same school. Survey method was used to determine the disciplinary problems faced by the teachers who work in Anatolian High Schools and their ways of coping with them. The survey questions were applied by a random, stratified method to the 290 teachers working in different Anatolian High Schools but only 252 survey studies were based on after 38 questionnaires were removed because they weren?t filled in properly enough to be evaluated.The survey consists of questions which measure the demographic characteristics of teachers (personal information ) and also measure the disciplinary problems arising from anatolian high school students , teachers , executives and discipline problems caused by parents.In the evaluation questions , four rating scales were used. Each of the participants were asked to evaluate their views on the matter to the discipline of the class by choosing one of the options as (1) Too Much Effective , (2) Mostly Effective , (3) Rarely Effective , (4) Very Low Effective .In the survey , the data collecting instruments and the analysis of the data obtained from 252 participants were determined by using a computer program called SPSS 15.0 software.Keywords: Discipline, Classroom Discipline, Problem Behavior.In January 2013, Abdullah AYGÜN
