Anatolian high schools's teachers perception of school culture the case of Malatya province Battalgazi district

The purpose of this study is to determine the perception level of the Anatolian High Schools's teachers towards school culture in the Province of Malatya Battalgazi District. In the study, descriptive scanning model has been used. 280 teachers working for Anatolian High Schools in the Province of Malatya Battalgazi District constitute the frame of the study for the years 2014-2015.All teachers who are in the study-frame are also a part of the study-sample. Research data has been collected through personal data form and scale of school culture developed by Fırat (2007). Personal data form includes personal and vocational information. Scale of school culture is comprised of 4 dimention and 48 questions. SPSS Program has been utulized for statistical analisis of the study. In accordance with the findings at the end of the study, the perception of the teachers to school culture has been proved with level "I agree". "integration and belonging" dimension has proved the greatest point. "Coorperation, support and trust dimension" has followed the previous one and respectively "democratic administration, participitation to the decision and organizational culture dimention and "school-environment relation dimension have followed. In addition, there were no significant differences in the other results of the study compared to the variables of gender, marital status, educational status and duration of service in school,the age and occupational seniority variables have been found to lead to meaningful differentiation.
