Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT There have been many remarkable, rapid developments in science, technology, art and relations between countries have increased. So, there have been a need for better education, foreign language learning, and studying at a college. Each year thousands of students enter the examinations of schools which give effective education. Among these, the most preferred ones are Anatolian High Sihools. But only 1 1 % of the students who enter these examinations can be successful. The purpose of this research is to find factors affecting students' success who enter Anatolian High School Examinations in İzmir In this research, data have been developed by the researcher herself and likert criteria have been used which included ninety-one items. These data have been taken from fifteen Anadolian High school prep, classes in 1995-1996 academic year in İzmir. Five hundred students were used. The alpha reliability coefficient of this survey is.9205. The data are shown on the table as aritmethical avarage standard deviation and persentage frequency. As a result of the factor are: 1.Education in courses. 2. Primary school teacher 3. Atmosphere of the course and the school. 4. Internal motivation 5. Psychological factors 6. Internal motivation 7. Home atmosphere and homework 8. External motivation VIDiagnosis: In this survey's students; 1. According to Sex "Atmosphere in Course and the School", "Work Strategy", "Psychological Factors", "External Motivation". 2. According to the School They Graduated from, "Atmosphere of the Course and the Primary Schools", "Work Strategy", "Home Atmosphere and Homework. " 3. According to the Environment of Anatolian High School", "Education Service in Courses", "The Primary School Teacher", "Work Strategy", "Home Atmosphere and Homework", "External Motivation. " 4. According to Grade in Examination, "Education Service in Courses", "Atmosphere in Courses and in Primary School", "Internal Motivation", "External Motivation". 5. According to Preference List, "Education Service in Courses", "External Motivation". 6. According to Parent Education, "Education Service in Courses", "External Motivation". 7. According to Mother's Job, "Education Service in Courses", "Atmosphere in Courses and in Primary School", "External Motivation. " 8. According to Father's Job, "Education Service in Courses", "External Motivation. " 9. According to Family İnocme, "Education Service in Courses", "Atmosphere in Courses and in Primary School", "External Motivation". lO.According to Course Time, "Education Service in Course", "External Motivation". II. According to Kind of Course, "Education Service in Course", "External Motivation. " 12. According to Entrance Grade List, they have given different Answers to "Education Service in Course" and "Internal Motivation. " VII
