The understanding of ornament with human and animal figures as a relief on the potteries has reached its zenith in the Early Hittite Period.In the first half of the second millenium BC, these potteries, which were commonly seen in the Assyrian Trade Colonies Period and Early Hittite Period, have been accepted to come across as a result of interaction and entered intensive trade relations with Mesopotamia in this term.The aim of this thesis, especially the understanding of ornament we come across into vase forms that examined until the end of the Early Neolithic Period from the Late Bronze Age was examined whether there is a continuity about its aim of the usage and its typological development related with the type of this pot during the periods covered.Materials, which were handled in during working, were examined in three main period as a Neolithic Age, Cholcolitic Age and Bronze Age. The settlements, which were obtained the vase pot embossed figure, were separately handled in under the titles of main period and were evaluated with archaeological context and findings. The relief figures were divided into the groups according to the integrity of the subject and cataloging work was made for each sample which was examined.
