Verbal humor in minstrelsy the Anatolian field

In this study, the minstrel tradition, which is the carrier of Anatolian cultural memory, was examined in terms of verbal humor. Humor and culture were discussed in general terms and conceptual analyzes were made. Humor and cultural environments where humor exists have been examined in detail. The concept of humor was emphasized, studies on humor were shared, and explanations were made based on the modern-traditional theories of humor identified in these studies. Along with the sub-concepts of humor, the determining factors of humor in oral culture have been examined. Humor in the minstrel tradition and the arts of the minstrels who are representatives of this tradition has been examined around performance and text-centered theory. An examination was made of the minstrels' habits of using humor, their ways of learning humor, their transmission, and especially the oral art products in which they used humor. Humorous uses identified in Anatolian Minstrelsy; Humor detected in poems, stories, serencams and performances, which were analyzed in terms of semiotics and intertextuality, were interpreted from a philosophical perspective.
