Abstract (EN)
In this study, criterion validity of the Anadolu Sak Intelligence Scale (ASIS) was investigated and ASIS's criterion, which aimed to measure the level of ability accurately, was revealed. Participants included 312 students from two schools in the province of Eskişehir. Measures were RIAS and UNIT intelligence scales and academic achievement. All three intelligence scales were applied simultaneously to the students. Year-end lecture notes of students are used for academic achievement scores. ASIS scores correlated significantly with all the measures of academic achievement and with RIAS and UNIT intelligence scales. Correlations ranged from medium to high. The study provided strong evidence for the criterion validity of the ASIS.
