Abstract (EN)

Ceramic has the feature of being a material that has a history as old as human history and is used in various patterns, forms and colors in every period. Ceramics is also a source that conveys the cultural, religious and socioeconomic characteristics of many civilizations to the present day. Ceramics, which have undergone many changes in the period from its existence to the present, have diversified and started to be used in industrial areas. One of the uses of ceramics in the industrial field is the tableware ceramics sector. During the preparation of table ceramic surface decor designs, designers were inspired by many things. From this point of view, one of them is the creation of original decor designs inspired by the motifs, symbols and symbols on the architectural works belonging to the geography we live in. Anatolian lands have the characteristics of a geographical region that has hosted many civilizations and has a wide cultural heritage. One of the most important civilizations living in this geographical region was the Anatolian Seljuk Civilization. It is thought that he is a source of inspiration for today's designers with the motifs, symbols and symbols he used in the works of this civilization, which left many architectural structures and works of art to the future.In this study, the examination of the relevant literature from scanning models and the observation technique from qualitative research methods were used. Within the scope of the research, the decor designs of the firm Keramika, which produces table ceramics in Kütahya, and the companies in the tableware and porcelain sector in Turkey and the world were examined. Based on the motifs, symbols and symbols on the crown doors, which are the most important parts of Anatolian Seljuk architectural structures, new surface decoration designs were prepared, printed and analyzed in line with the investigations.
