Abstract (EN)

Aim: This study was carried out to investigate interaction of blood parameters on active and passive recovery phases after anaerobic test and determine changes in cortisol hormone and respiratory function. Material and Method: The study included twenty-eight volunteer male athletes who were student at the School of Physical Education and Sports making active sports. The average age of the subjects participating in the survey was 19.75 ± 1.61 years, average body weight was 73.24 ± 8.44, height average was 178.6 ± 6.65cm, BMI was 22.93 ± 2.31. In the study that was approved by the Ethics Committee of Inonu University Clinical Investigations; Monarc brand 824 E (made in Sweden) foot ergometer was used. After the anaerobic test, the first group of subjects who were divided into two groups were actively recovered at the 40% heart rate interval followed by the Covidien's Nellcor SpO2 Monitoring System brand in the Proitness 3000-3AC brand treadmill while the second group was sitting passively. Venous blood samples were taken from all subjects by experts in the field before, during, and after 3 and 5 minutes of recovery. In addition, FVC, FEV1, FEV / FVC levels were determined by applying Pulmonary Function Test with Care Fusion Run -7402 brand Ergosprometry on the 5th minute before and after the test. The results of the lactic acid, blood gases, cortisol hormone and PFT of the subjects were compared between groups and intra-groups. The Spearman test, Friedman test, Conover-Imman test, Mann-Whitney U test were used for statistical evaluation of the data with the IBM SPSS 24. 0 statistical program and the significance level was accepted as p <0.05. Results: The significant differences were found in PO2, FVC and FEV1 levels (p <0.05) while there was no significant difference in cortisol hormone and lactic acid levels. Conclusion: It was established that passive recovery increased PO2 level while active recovery increased FVC and FEV 1 levels.
